Our Dermamelan treatment provides an intensive corrective action on skin hyperpigmentation while regulating the overproduction of melanin by inhibiting and controlling the reoccurrence of new spots.
It provides long term results by regulating production of excessive pigmentation and short term corrective results by speeding up the skin renewal process, forcing skin shedding and removing melanin deposits.

Redness is evident immediately after washing off the depigmentation mask and can persist for up to 4 weeks. It generally starts to subside from day two onwards.
Pigmentation will become darker as it’s pushed towards the surface of your skin before shedding. This can last until the peeling has finished, which usually takes around two weeks.
Skin peeling and dryness will occur as the old skin is pushed to the surface and your new skin is revealed. The shedding usually starts from the centre of your face and graduates towards the perimeter. The parts of your expression that move a lot (like around your mouth), will peel faster and more excessively. Optimal results will be achieved when you allow the skin to shed naturally.
Skin sensitivity may increase due to the intensity of the depigmentation treatment causing a temporary impairment to the barrier of your skin.
Comprehensive post care guidelines will be given to you, so you can refer to them at home.
